Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2007 infiniti g35. The contact stated that the occupant classification system (ocs) air bag warning indicator illuminated without warning. That contact stated that anyone could sit in the passenger seat and the air bag warning indicator would not turn off. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the vehicle and stated that the air bag ocs sensor needed to be replaced. The dealer confirmed that the air bag sensor was replaced by the previous owner. The failure recurred multiple times. The contact referenced nhtsa campaign number: 08v521000 (air bags, electrical system). The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and did not assist.
