Description of the problem | On quite a few occasions when my wife or grown daughter is sitting in the front passenger seat the "airbag off" light is illuminated to indicate that they are not being properly protected by the airbag system. Every time i look to make sure they aren't sitting oddly in a way that would give a false reading to the sensor and they aren't. I've taken it to the dealer three times and they continue to tell me that it is "... Operating as designed." i'd like to know what part of turning off the airbag when an adult-sized person is sitting in the seat is considered "as designed.". This whole situation makes me quite concerned for the safety of my passenger every time i notice that the light is on. Infiniti seems to think that by telling me that there isn't a problem that everything is all right. That's definitely not how i see it! |
