Description of the problem | The vehicle is difficult to refuel. The pump bounces back during refueling and makes it difficult to fuel the car past half full even doing it very slowly. Infiniti sent a notification that evaporative emission vapor tube sometimes may get clogged and the symptom is difficulty to refuel. However the dealership says that this is probably a different issue. I found out that infiniti released a service bulletin for another issue relating to refuelling with similar symptom itb08-041a however it is an expensive repair if the vehicle is out of warranty. With so many issues with the fuel system, shouldn't infiniti do a recall to fix the defects with the fuel system. I am attaching both documents for your review. |
