Description of the problem | I was at a traffic light on a four lane highway. No overpass, trees, other vehicles, etc. The light changed to green, i accelerated, when my car reached 15 mph i heard an explosion. I pulled to the side of the road to inspect my tires. There was no damage. I got back in my car, pulled back on the road and could hear wind. I pulled back over and got out to find the sunroof glass had exploded. When i took my car to infiniti two hours later the only thing the service manager could tell me was that it was not something i did and maybe it was positive pressure. At the time of the explosion all windows, including the sunroof, were closed and the cooling system was on fresh air. My car is less than a month out of warranty and a lot less than 60k. Currently, infiniti is not offering to repair the sunroof under good faith or warranty. *kb |
