Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 1998 infiniti i30. The contact stated that while driving 30 mph, smoke and fire began to rise from under the hood of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop and the contact was informed that the alternator system failed and caused the fire.
