Description of the problem | Purchased (4) pirelli str-a' s from the tire rack. They were installed by merchants tire. The first location didn't charge me because the couldn't get the tires to balance. The second location found one tire wavy and each tire took from 4. 5 to 8 oz of weight. I still had a vibration in the seat of the vehicle. The tire rack would not replace more than one tire at a time. Replaceing one tire took care of the vibration. I returned for the first rotation and balance, merchants said that they would not put the rear tires on the front because each tire has 8 oz's of weight. I told them to do it anyway because i had to follow pirelli's requirements of rotation. Are these tires heading for self destruction with this much weight??? I have e-mailed pirelli, but no one replied. *ak |
