Description of the problem	Purchased the vehicle used in august 2018, with about 50k miles. Brought the car into infiniti of williamsville, ny complaining of a problem noticed with the transmission and hybrid system. The service dept. Cleared a code from some computer and told me to keep an eye on it. I brought the car in again, complained that the transmission was revving up and down a couple of 1000 rpm? This time the service dept. Performed a software update, and again told me to report any problems. Finally at 64724 miles the transmission failed all together. The vehicle wouldn't accelerate, as the transmission was slipping in and out of gear. The hybrid system tried to keep car going, but it threw out an over-heating message. Was able to get the car off the road and into a parking lot away from other traffic. The next day i had the vehicle towed to the dealership. Where after 10 days of service, the dealership agreed to replace the transmission under the 70k miles power train warranty. A total of 24 days to replace a problem that no doubt they knew about from the onset was a major disappointment. I was told that the new transmission had 12 months, or 12k miles warranty, but haven't received that in writing from the dealer ship.
