Description of the problem	The vehicle, which was less than 18 mos old, was at random times having difficulty starting (chugging and hesitating). I took it into the shop, and after one day they said they could not replicate the problem. Then, about a week later i was sitting at a red light in heavy traffic when the vehicle suddenly and unexpectedly shut off. I depressed the brake and pressed the button to start the car, but nothing happened. Then, i pressed it again and it chugged a little. I pressed it again and it chugged and hesitated a bit before starting. The light had already turned green and i was holding up traffic. I was able to drive home and called the jaguar land rover dallas dealership to alert them to the problem and was told they couldn't get to it for at least two to five weeks because they had so many other cars in for service! I did some online research and saw others have had this same issue. It seems to be a problem with the energy saving auto stop/start feature that must be disabled every time one starts the vehicle to render it safe to drive. This is a major safety issue that needs to be investigated and addressed.
