Description of the problem | While vehicle powered on, rear passenger side seat heater caught fire / electrical fire with significant, ongoing smoldering. Burned seating and passenger. Required passengers to immediately evacuate the vehicle. Seat heater fire impacted cabin climate control, defrost sensors, windshield wiper sensors and more. Fire continued while parked and running. Toxic electrical fire scent permeates vehicle. Photos and video available. |
