Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2015 jeep cherokee. The contact stated while driving 70 mph, the contact stated they looked out the front passenger side window and saw a glow coming from under the vehicle as the parking brake light and all dash lights illuminated. The contact pulled the vehicle over safely and exited the vehicle. The contact mentioned that flames were emitting from the engine compartment and shortly after the entire vehicle engulfed in fire. A police report was filed and no injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, where it diagnosed destroyed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vin was unavailable. The approximate failure mileage was 1,300. |
