Description of the problem | We had just parked the jeep about 15 minutes before we had to leave again. We unlocked the vehicle, put our child inside and closed the door. When we tried to open the driver and passenger doors, the jeep locked up and would not let us in to get our child. We were in august, and it was hot out. We finally pulled the battery and was able to get it open. The end result was the computer module needed replaces on a 6 month old vehicle. Even though the module was replaced, the jeep has started to do the same things again. We can not have our children locked inside the vehicle for extended periods of time if the jeep decides to lock them in. The warranty is now up on the vehicle and we are not able to financially replace the computer module. |
