Description of the problem | Approx. 4:45pm when the temperature was 117, i was parked, with the engine off, waiting to pick up my dog at the vet. I had just driven 15 miles to this location = 25 minutes. Waited over 20 minutes for dog to be brought to car. When ready to leave, car would not start, all service/dash lights come on. (had air, radio, lights} waited over 40 minutes and finally car started. Drove directly home, again the 15 miles in about 20 minutes, backed into driveway, put car in park (did not turn engine off), took dog inside. When putting car in reverse to put car in garage, car stalled out. This was twice in one day!! This has been happening for the last 2 years on very hot days. Why no research/recall on this stalling out issue?? |
