Description of the problemFlat tow owner addendum card recall s13 customer satisfaction notification we own a 2015 jeep equipped with jeep active drive ii transfer case. We bought this vehicle because you could flat tow on the ground. Now fca is sending out addendum cards telling us that you can't flat tow your vehicle. Unless we the owners pay to have a wiring kit and battery installed. Because our vehicle may shake on rough roads while towing. Fca said that this is not a safety issue. If this is not a safety issue then what is it?? We have friends that have the 2014 jeep equipped the same. We were following them on the highway and saw their vehicle bounce from side to side not shake. They have already have had to have the transmission and transfer case replaced. I have contracted the dealership where the vehicle was purchased, fca group recall assistance center, and chrysler corp. In phoenix was also contacted by dealership. That the repairs is on us. Also the recall s13 is only for the addendum card.
