Description of the problem | Purchased brand new- at 20k miles had to have the gear shift motherboard replaced after the vehicle began to jolt when driving almost causing a wreck. It would jolt when coming to a stop or taking off. I was told it was the electrical component not relaying properly to tell the car to shift gears and what gear to shift to. I read several online forums where hundreds of people were having the same issue. That was in aug of 2016. Now im having to take it in again because the check engine light is on. I do all maintenance service on time so not sure what the issue is this time but very upset that my 1st brand new car and i am experiencing issues so early on. Once i take it in for the check engine light i will update this to reflect what i am told is the problem. |
