Description of the problem | Air conditioning suction/discharge hose split and blew off the engine causing loss of air conditioning cooling while in motion on the highway. Recall #r57 clearly shows a recall for this hose being placed too close to the manifold and posing a fire risk or air conditioning loss or warning light. Chrysler states this vin is not included in the recall although it states 2015 jeep cherokee vehicles are affected and this model is in fact a 2015 jeep cherokee. We would like to request to be considered for a reimbursement for this repair. Although we feel our previous repair in may of 2018 was also related to this same recall we would like to be considered. |
