Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2015 jeep cherokee. While driving at a low speed, the accelerator pedal was depressed but the vehicle failed to accelerate. The malfunction light and service transmission light remained illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on two separate occasions. The technician diagnosed that the transmission computer needed to be re-reprogrammed. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to a dealer a third time where it was diagnosed that the valve body needed to be replaced, but it was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 930. |
