Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2015 jeep cherokee. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to the dealer for the manufacturer's "long term reliability of the transmission/drive train performance" campaign. The vehicle was repaired under the reliability campaign and the dealer was to update/recalibrate the transmission. After the repair, while driving various speeds, there was a lag in acceleration when the accelerator pedal was depressed. The contact also noticed that the gears would not shift properly while driving uphill or at a traffic light and the vehicle would roll backwards independently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where they stated that the transmission needed to be re-calibrated. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure persisted and became worse. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where the transmission was re-calibrated again and eventually replaced; however, the failure persisted. The contact stated that the failure had not occurred until the vehicle was initially taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 3,200.
