Description of the problem | The transmission on this vehicle, cherokee trailhawk with 13k miles is very dangerous. Like others, i have been to multiple dealers numerous times for transmission software updates which seem to fix the problem but the problem seems to be relearned by the computer and comes back worse than before. Now there is a transaxle issue where all power can be lost while driving. This vehicle's transmission is bad enough with the constant lag, jerking and hesitation but now this unrepairable transaxle issue is making it very hard for me to even want to drive this incredibly unsafe vehicle. Dealers say 9 speed transmission just work this way but this is the worst shifting, most dangerous vehicle i have ever driven. I am very disappointed in this jeep product and worry about anyone driving my vehicle. |
