Description of the problem | This vehicle shifts extremely roughly into first gear, both from a standstill and when shifting into first from reverse. It has been to the dealership on 5 different occasions and in spite of software updates, the problem persists. Since some vehicles with this same transmission have been reported to suddenly shift into neutral while driving down the freeway, i am very concerned. Jeep is aware of the problems with this 9 speed transmission yet seems incapable of coming up with a solution to fix it. |
