Description of the problem | Service transmission came on after i purchased this car 3 days ago with 47k miles. As i slowed to a stop coming off the highway the car vibrated violently repeatedly and then cut off. It took 3 tries to finally turn the vehicle on and it continued to have the same issue. At one point i was having to throw the car in neutral to get it to stop jerking as i decelerated. That created a whole other problem because i then when i shifted back into drive i had no acceleration control. I had to roll off the road, throw it into park, kill the engine, and restart the car to get back control of the accelerator. Very scary and unsafe! |
