Description of the problemWhen in motion and slowing to a roll at low speed, transmission remains in higher gear(3) and doesn't shift down when throttle is re-applied. Is repeatable. Is extremely dangerous when rolling to a near stop on an incline because when you try to accelerate, it happens extremely slow because the vehicle is in to high of a gear. Car has to come to a complete stop to shift down from 3rd gear in these situations. Transmission is also very slow to shift in many scenarios, which could become dangerous if driver needs to accelerate to avoid a crash. Fca has come out with many transmission ecu updates and is aware of many complaints with this transmission, but has failed to resolve the problem with them. Purchased new and has been happening since around 2k miles, at least around the time i recognized it.
