Description of the problem	"shifter need service" warning message. This problem has been widely noted on google as a problem with this vehicle. Warning light comes on, all position lights on shifter comes on. Sometimes vehicle will stall. Usually when vehicle is turned off and restarted, there is no more problem. It will recur at irregular intervals. My dealer doesn't seem to know what the problem is, but some apparently replace shifters and/or its wiring and wiring harnesses, and problem still persists. It has led to my vehicle just turning off or shutting down at dangerous times such in heavy traffic with difficult restart. This usually occurs when driving the vehicle, sometimes while or after making a turn. Van be on residential streets ot worse the highway with no warning other than the message.
