Description of the problem | Service shifter light would appear, this would cause all the lights on my gear shift to light up red as if my jeep did not know what gear it should be in. This mainly happened when going around a curve. I would have to pull over and cut the vehicle off to make this reset. After reviewing hundreds of complaints about this same issue online, i immediately had this addressed at the jeep dealership. They were able to fix the problem for me which was not a cost friendly repair. The wiring-shifter jumper and bezel kit-shifter had to be replaced. Considering this is an issues with thousands of vehicles it would be great to see a recall so that people feel safe while driving. |
