Description of the problem | Transmission engages violently when coasting, especially when coming out of a coast downhill. When attempting to accelerate after coasting the transmission engages violently. This generally occurs when the vehicle attempts to jump from 2nd to 3rd gear or 3rd for 4th. This is a very violent engagement, to the point where it can be felt through the driver's seat and steering wheel. It often time feels like the driver has impacted an object, which may cause the driver to overreact to conditions. This is a common occurrence. This issue has been reported to dealerships several times. |
