Description of the problem | Dealer accepted an appointment for the recall repair but did not complete the recall repair. Dealer claimed that jeep corporate would not allow the dealer to maintain an inventory of required parts, in this case a liftgate module. Thus i am required to return to the dealer for a second appointment to have the recall repair finished. I think this is unreasonable. Service manager explained that this is jeep policy. He is not permitted to order liftgate modules in advance so as to have an inventory. He explained that he is required to order them for each repair, thus requiring the customer to return for a second time to have the repair finished. |
