Description of the problem | When vehicle reached approximately 5,000 miles i took it to the dealer for routine maintenance - lube, oil and filter, tire rotation and wheel alignment. Dealer stated vehicle could not be aligned to specification; explanation was: "something is bent" and recommended i take the vehicle to a body shop for diagnosis. They did not provide a worksheet with the appropriate settings. I took the vehicle to a tire shop to perform an alignment. They also said they could not align the vehicle to specification. They did provide a worksheet showing the appropriate settings. Tire shop confirmed that the existing specifications were close enough to ideal to not be a problem. The vehicle shows no tendency to wander or to pull. I suspect possible manufacturing defect for the suspension parts. |
