Description of the problem | The car has a toxic internal smell. It clings to you for hours after leaving the car and has remained on clothing and baby toys left in the car. I bought the car new and as i have driven the car the smell had become worse and worse. The dealership acknowledged the smell and said it was from factory stickers under the car. Jeep paid to have the stickers removed over three weeks ago. The car smell is not dissipating. I place my one year old son in the car and i am terrified of the effect the chemical smell may be having on him. The dealership has said i have to just wait for the smell to go away. It is not health and beyond any toxic smell i have ever experienced. This is the only car i have access to drive and have no choice but to place my son in it. |
