Description of the problem | The service shifter light comes on more and more frequently. It only comes on while i am driving. If i shut the jeep off and turn it back on it temporarily disappears. It doesn't matter if i'm going 10 miles or 70 miles, it randomly comes on. I have taken it to a jeep dealership and they can not do anything for me unless i drive it there with the light still on. I know numerous people have reported this problem. Why is there not a recall? Does it have something to do with the cruise control recall or the wiring harness that wears out for the gear shifter???? |
