Description of the problem | Jeep cherokee transmission issue. The car has had acceleration issues from the very start. But recently at only 38k miles the transmission totally failed on me and would not allow me to accelerate on the highway. This failure was very dangerous but luckily i was able to get off the highway without incident. After turning the car off for a long while the check engine light was still on but transmission seemed to be fine. Now the check engine light is off, but i still plan on taking it to the dealer after reading that this is a known issue and tends to reoccur. My wife is now scared to use this car. How can a company get away with cheating customers this way? |
