Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2015 jeep cherokee. The contact stated that at start up and while driving, there was an abnormal rattling sound coming from the engine. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to respond and hesitated while driving. The vehicle also experienced independent acceleration and deceleration without warning. The vehicle was taken to hemet chrysler dodge jeep ram dealer, 425 motor way, hemet, ca 92545, (951) 225-4217, to be diagnosed. The contact was informed of cylinder misfire, low oil level, low engine compression on cylinder #2, oil leak in crankcase, and scoring on two cylinders. The engine was removed and replaced with a new engine, the intake manifold was swapped and the engine compartment wires reinstalled. The repairs were performed under warranty. The contact stated that failure recurred and the vehicle was taken back to the same dealer. The contact was informed that the cylinder head needed to be torqued to specs and that some noise from the engine was normal operation sounds.
