Description of the problem	I recently had a tire blow out while traveling a short distance. The tire had only 8000 miles on it, so i question a firestone dealer in n. Smithfield, r. I. Whether the tire had a defect and was told (common reply of deniability) a pot hole caused the tire to blow. I pointed out that the damage was done on the inside wall not the outside wall and i hadn't hit any potholes driving to my daughter's house. I even asked him to come check the route i took and could see for himself the condition of the road i traveled on (he refused to do so) it is not normal for a t ire to explode with such low mileage on it. There was no damage to the rim or wheel that could of affected the life of the tire but upon inspection no damage was found. It is so easy to blame potholes for a tire that may have had a defect when it was made especially when the tire has a warrantee of 72 months from the date of purchase. I bought t he vehicle in 2017 with said tires attached
