Description of the problem | Vehicle randomly stalled while driving. Had oil changed by dealer very recently. Unknown cause. Based on recalls for related vehicles, possibly caused by faulty transmission or electrical system. Occurred after stopping at a stop sign, and then accelerating up to 45 mph on a busy road. Shortly after accelerating, the touchscreen went out, the vehicle stalled, and the battery light came on. Was luckily able to pull off on a small area at the side of the road to let other cars pass. Was only able to get going again after turning off the engine and restarting it. |
