Description of the problem	This reports documents a second instance of power failure. On friday, jan 4 faii was driving on interstate hwy 287. The dashboard went dark at first and then started flickering. Car then stalled while driving. The gas pedal no longer worked. The power steering failed. I coasted to the shoulder. When in park the dashboard came back on with battery, engine light, and p with circle and exclamation mark. A message came on display to service transmission. I had to be towed to the car dealership. At the dealership i was told the repair work wouldn't start until monday. On monday afternoon, i was told the battery connection was poor and they ordered a part. I also received a recall email that states the transmission needs to be fixed. I feel this vehicle is life threatening at this point. Many cherokees have received 5 recalls and i only have one. Please look into the cherokee limited 4 x 4.
