Description of the problem | My jeep has 8300 miles on it and i was driving 45 mph and a warning came on the info screen as well as a ding sound, shifter service? I looked and all the lights were lit on the shifter (dnr =-) i drove it to the dealer and they had me turn it off and then back on and it went away and setup appointment for the next morning to do a update? Well that was done and they said it still needed replaced(shifter) waiting on parts, was told it was safe to drive. 3 times now once while backing it did it again, the other 2 times i was driving on level pavement. I am worried about the fact this is a switch controlled not a shifter with mech device that changes gears. Is it safe to drive?? |
