Description of the problem | This car burns oil which i was not told about by the dealer when purchasing. That in and of itself is a problem (i have since been told to check it every 1000 miles even though the manual says it can go 7500 w/o changing), but the real problem is when it gets low the car just turns off. No warning. Luckily i was in a residential area when it happened, although it was an intersection. I was with my 3 year old and required help from a passerby to help push it to the curb. I could have been driving on a freeway with no shoulder as often happens on highway 1 where i live. This feature is dangerous! Somebody is going to get hurt because of it. It is currently in the shop for some other problem where it wont start, which is also dangerous in it's own way. |
