Description of the problem | I was about to pull out of the parking lot while in drive when the engine service light came up telling me to pull my car over and come to a stop because the vehicle will shut off. Took it to the dealer they said nothing was wrong and erased all my error messages after it was scanned. As a standard procedure of jeep they told me to pick up the vehicle and drive it for 1,000 miles and if the check engine light appeared to bring it in and then they will fix it. I find this is unsafe telling me to go drive my vehicle and there is a possibility it may turn off while i am on the highway. |
