Description of the problem | My 2018 jeep compass started randomly overheating. We were stranded for over 5 hours in the middle of nowhere. I had the engine thermostat replaced, as the mechanic thought that was the problem. It seemed to work and we were in our way. About 2 miles from our destination it started overheating again. There was no steam, no excess sound from the engine, no nothing. I took the vehicle into another mechanic and had a full diagnostic ran, only to come back with nothing. We are currently driving through the desert with the heat on because anytime you turn on the ac the engine starts to overheat, and it is not even 80 |
