Description of the problem | This vehicle has a known oil consumption problem yet chrysler will not recall or repair it. There is no warning light for low oil and the car will just suddenly loose power. Dealership states you have to bring in your car every 1000 miles for an oil consumption test. Problem started within 6 months of leasing vehicle with less than 5000 miles on it. Problem has been ongoing every few months despite getting regular oil changes. It has happened when driving vehicle (sudden loss of power) or when starting up car after being parked. Has been serviced at least 6 times in less than 2 years. |
