Description of the problem | 2011 jeep grand cherokee - tipm went out at 59,000 miles. No longer under warranty. This part is integral to the working of the car-air bags, accessories, dash, fuel pump, etc. According to the dealer, this part is on back order and they do not know when it will become available. They currently have several vehicles there that have been waiting longer than 6 weeks. According to an internet search, this is a wide spread problem and chrysler has yet to recall or accommodate owners. This is a safety issue!!!!! *js |
