Description of the problem | The t. I. P. M. (totally integrated power module) on my jeep grand cherokee overland has malfunctioned. After doing some research online thousands of dodge/chrysler/jeep consumers have been experiencing the same problem with the tipm module. The problem seems to be with all chrysler brand suv's built between 2011 and 2013. To make matters worse this particular part is nationally back ordered due to the large volume of consumers experiencing the same problem. Due to the shear amount of consumers experiencing this problem an investigation by the nhtsa should be launched and a manufacturer recall should be issued to protect consumers from the costs (around $1200) associated with replacing this obviously faulty part. |
