Description of the problem | My jeep was having problems starting for 3 weeks now but the dealer couldn't look at it until 9/9/14 on tuesday 9/2/14 it stalled while doing 55 mph on the long island expressway, i was able to coast to the shoulder and able to get the car started after about a dozen tries. I called the dealer and tried to get in earlier because on my concern about safety. They told me i was lucky i still had the appointment that i had because they are overbooked. It would not start at all on friday 9/5/14 i had it towed to another dealer that diagnosed it as a faulty tipm. And it would cost me 1098 to fix because the warranty will not cover it. After looking up the problem i see that this is a serious issue with my model. This is a serious problem with the engine stalling at speed. Chrysler should fix this for free! |
