Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2011 jeep grand cherokee. The contact stated that there were various electrical shortages within the vehicle that occurred intermittently. The dealer was not able to neither replicate nor diagnose the failures. The contact also indicated that the brakes failed on several occasions and went to the floorboard abnormally. The contact had to apply force to stop the vehicle on numerous occasions. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, who installed insufficient rotors and did not secure the tires causing them to fracture. The contact had to take the vehicle back to have the dealer to have them reinstall the correct rotors. The vehicle was repaired by the authorized dealer for the brake failure however, the failure intermittently recurred. The vin was not available. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 38,000. |
