Description of the problem | Turn signals failed, windshield wipers failed to turn off, traction control turned off, horn failed to work, interior lights failed to work, could not turn lights onto highbeam, rear wiper failed to turn on, electronic transmission shifted into a different gear while driving. It was determined that this was a failure of the angle sensor in the steering column. The failure of this part caused significant failures of the main safety equipment of the vehicle (turn signals, headlamps, windshield wipers, traction control, transmission, horn) hazards because the primary safety equipment of the vehicle failed to function correctly while it was being driven. |
