Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2011 jeep grand cherokee. The contact stated that the tipm was replaced in october of 2014 due to electrical issues that caused the vehicle not to restart after driving and parking. In december of 2014, the contact received a recall notice for the tipm to be replaced. In addition, while driving various speeds, the vehicle would suddenly shut off for approximately 15 seconds before suddenly restarting itself. The cause of the failure was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 85,000. |
