Description of the problem | Stop at a gas station went to start vehicle would not start made some clicking noises open the hood smoke coming from the alternator ,alternator was extremely hot had vehicle towed come to find out alternator went to ground burned up the computer in the vehicle. Was told 2011 models have been recalled for alternators doing this very thing, dealer told me there was no recall on my vehicle for the alternator but other 2011 |
