Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2011 jeep grand cherokee. The contact stated that the automatic starter failed. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the wiring harness under the hood was repositioned, allowing the hood to close correctly and allowing the automatic starter to function. The contact also stated that the air conditioner failed. The vehicle was taken back to the authorized dealer where the coolant condenser was replaced. In addition, the electronic stability control and engine malfunction lights were also illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the authorized dealer on four occasions for these failures. The contact felt the vehicle was unsafe to drive due to the consistent failures. The failure mileage was 20 and the current mileage was 9,500. |
