Description of the problem | My car would not start on a number of occasions--the starter would make noise but the engine would not start. It usually started on the second or third try. I received a recall notice for defective tipm unit but was told that the part was not in stock. Well over a year later, the company still does not have any in stock. In addition, i have experienced my horn randomly doing off (sounds like the panic alarm) even though the car was running and in motion. Jeep should be much more proactive about this as an stalls during driving as a result of a tipm defect could case bodily harm to the driver, passengers, and others on the road. |
