Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2011 jeep grand cherokee. While driving approximately 25 mph exiting a highway, the vehicle stalled and the fcw warning indicator illuminated. The contact shifted into park and the vehicle restarted normally. The failure recurred approximately fifteen times when driving and attempting to slow down. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and they were not able to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was at the dealer for two weeks. The manufacturer headquarters telephoned the contact to pick up the vehicle, mentioned that a recording device was installed, and advised the contact to continue driving so the error could be recorded. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 85,000. |
