Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2011 jeep grand cherokee. While driving unknown speeds, the rpms and all the electrical components went haywire. The contact drove the vehicle home. The dealer (neuwirth motors, 219 s college rd, wilmington, nc 28403) diagnosed that the tipm was never repaired on the vehicle. The manufacturer informed the contact that the manufacturer warranty expired and suggested that the contact use the extended warranty. The contact took the vehicle to a different dealer (victory chrysler dodge, 45 naber drive, shallotte, nc 28470) where it was diagnosed that the tipm was faulty and would cost $1,200 to repair. The vehicle was still at the dealer being repaired. The failure mileage was 132,050. Parts distribution disconnect. |
