Description of the problem | Brake booster issue with 2011 jeep grand cherokee. I recently purchased a used grand cherokee from a dealership. I have noticed that the brake pedal is extremely stiff and it is very difficult to engage the brake at times. This is not a consistent issue. Brakes will behave normally and then pedal will become very stiff the next time the brake is depressed. My mechanic examined the vehicle and informed me of the recall and stated that the vehicle is not safe to drive at this point. The dealership that the car was purchased from and chrysler both state that this vehicle is not recalled despite the fact that it has the recalled defect. |
